Yeasle Lee is a PhD student in the Center for Social and Cultural Psychology at KU Leuven. Her research focuses on understanding the nature of emotional acculturation, which refers to any changes in emotions as a consequence of contact with a different culture. She is currently studying 1) how multiple aspects of emotion acculturate over time, 2) how intercultural contact facilitates emotional acculturation, and 3) how social and cultural context(s) affects emotional patterns.

Prior to joining REACH, Yeasle received her MA in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and her BA in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
